These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SteadyHome mobile application and website (the "Service") operated by SteadyHome ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

2. Acceptable Use

The Service may offer optional in-app purchases (e.g., removing ads). Purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms. Refunds are handled by the platform through which you made the purchase.

The Service provides home maintenance reminders and suggestions for informational purposes only. These are general guidelines and may not account for your specific home, climate, or local regulations. We are not liable for any damage resulting from following or not following maintenance suggestions. Always consult qualified professionals for critical home maintenance decisions.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SteadyHome shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Terms on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
