SteadyHome ("we", "us", or "our") operates the SteadyHome mobile application and the steadyhome.app website (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Home information: You may choose to provide details about your home, including address, maintenance schedules, appliance details, paint colors, warranty dates, and other home-related data.

Device information: We collect push notification tokens to deliver maintenance reminders. We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes.

Usage data: We may collect anonymized usage statistics to improve the Service (e.g., which features are most used).

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service, including personalized maintenance reminders
• To send you transactional emails (account verification, password resets)
• To improve and develop new features
• To respond to your support requests

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the Service:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cloud hosting and email delivery (SES). Data is stored in the US East region.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Push notification delivery for Android and iOS devices.
• Google AdMob: We may display ads to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device information as described in Google's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store / Google Play: For processing in-app purchases.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Amazon Web Services. We use encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and secure password hashing. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account and home data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where required by law.

6. Your Rights

You may:

• Access, update, or delete your personal information through the app
• Request a copy of your data by contacting us
• Delete your account at any time
• Opt out of push notifications through your device settings

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
